Attend our informative evening with the British Hen Welfare Trust

May 7, 2023

You may be aware that here at Apex Vets, we are now holding quarterly evening chats with a variety of charities and organisations.

We are very pleased to announce that our next chat will be held on Tuesday the 20th of June, hosted by the British Hen Welfare Trust with the evening “clucking” off at 6.45pm, and will end at 7.45pm. There will be hot drinks and biscuits available!

Staff and volunteers from the British Hen Welfare Trust come to Apex Vets on the 20th of June for an “all things chicken chat!”. Their experienced and knowledgeable staff will give information about the background of the charity and how they began, they have been working tirelessly since 2005 rescuing hens from slaughter and rehoming them throughout the UK. Come along to find out information about their rehoming days! They will be giving lots of information about owning hens as pets – which is a pet with ever growing popularity!

They hold regular rehoming days for the 60,000 hens they save A YEAR! We would invite you to come along for more information on the evening if you are considering rehoming a hen. All being well (regarding restrictions) they will be bringing some hens along for you to meet too!

There will be leaflets, merchandise and a donation tin should anyone wish to make a donation on the evening.

Please email the practice at info@apexvets.com or visit; https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/british-hen-welfare… to book your space with us!

There is limited availability so places must be booked prior to attendance. We would love to see you there!
