Position: Veterinary Nurse

Qualifications: SVN, BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science

I am currently a Veterinary Nurse at Apex Vets. In a previous life I was a research scientist, specialising in marine ecology. While I love research, I decided to make the jump into veterinary nursing a few years ago as I felt a change would be as good as a rest, as the saying goes. My return to study has been both exciting and surprising, and I am looking forward to qualifying, hopefully in the near future.

I particularly enjoy meeting both clients and pets as I like to see the relationship people have with their pets. As anyone who knows me can attest I am a chatter box and always find interacting with the client offers new or fun snippets of information.

At home I have a fabulously moody Irish Setter who keeps me entertained with his moods and resulting looks.
