Comfort & care for Cats in Denny
Visiting the vets can sometimes be a stressful experience for cats so when they need to come in for a procedure, we understand it can be worrying for their owner too. From the moment they arrive at our Denny practice, we have designed our facilities and services with your cat in mind.
Separate areas for Cats & Dogs
As an ISFM accredited Cat Friendly Clinic, Apex Vets has been recognised for our high level of cat care. Along with our separate cat waiting area, we also have a separate Cat Ward so that if your cat is with us for the day or will be staying overnight, there will be minimum, to no contact with our canine patients.
Designed for your Cat’s needs
Once your cat has been booked in, they will be settled into our relaxing cat ward, which has been designed with the comfort and wellbeing of your pet in mind.
The walls are soundproof to keep noise levels down to a minimum, and the ward is completely separate from our dog ward to reduce any anxiety or distraction related to our canine patients. We also used plug-in pheromone diffusers to promote happy feelings in our cat ward.
Your cat’s individual kennel will be lined with comfortable bedding and a litter tray, and is a place where they can take a nap in peace. They will be fed, monitored and cuddled by our dedicated and caring nursing team, until it’s time for you to collect them.
We advise you to bring your cat’s favourite blanket and toys to help them settle in.
Visiting our in-patient wards
If you wish to visit your cat whilst they are an in-patient with us, ask our reception or veterinary team who will be happy to help arrange this.
A full suite of veterinary facilities
To complement our in-patient cat ward we offer a broad range of other services to ensure your feline companion gets the best possible care. From our in-house laboratory and on-site digital x-ray and ultrasound facilities, to our 24-hour emergency pet care service, Apex Vets in Denny delivers a total care package for your cat 24/7.
