Comfort & care for Exotic Pets in Denny
We provide specialist care and advice for exotic pets of all shapes and sizes including small mammals (hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils etc.), reptiles, fish, amphibians, birds, backyard hens, domestic farm animals and invertebrates.
Our Denny practice has a separate exotics ward so if your pet is with us for further examination or a procedure, they can feel relaxed and safely away from our feline and canine patients. Rabbits will also be looked after in our exotics ward.
Designed for a range of Exotic Pets
Exotic pets have many differences between each species, so our exotics ward and facilities have been designed to cater for a wide variety of animals. We do however encourage you to bring in their own housing (where possible), bedding, feeding & water bowls/dispensers, food and any vital equipment they need, to help them relax and settle in.
Your pet will be fed, monitored and cared for by our experienced nursing team until it’s time for you to collect them.
Visiting our in-patient wards
If you wish to visit your exotic pet whilst they are an in-patient with us, ask our reception or veterinary team who will be happy to help arrange this.
A full suite of veterinary facilities
To complement our in-patient exotics ward we offer a broad range of other services to ensure your pet gets the best possible care. From our in-house laboratory and on-site digital x-ray and ultrasound facilities, to our 24-hour emergency pet care service, Apex Vets in Denny delivers a total care package for your exotic pet 24/7.
