Welcome to Apex Vets!
Your local independent vets in Denny
Apex Vets is owned by local vets Douglas Paterson and Glenn Hodgson. Both vets have many years of experience in veterinary practice and are delighted to have moved to Denny to design, build and set up their own independent veterinary practice.
Our team of vets is highly skilled and experienced. We are staffed entirely by local people, and we source goods and services from Denny Falkirk Stirling and Cumbernauld wherever possible.
We’re here when you need us most
We run our own 24-hour emergency service right here from the vet surgery in Denny. This is a vital service to many of our clients, who have experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to find a vet in the middle of the night.
Rest assured that if you are ever worried about your pet, we are little more than a phone call away. To access our emergency service, simply call the normal surgery number (01324 829 989) and you will hear a short-recorded message with the mobile number for the duty vet.
Glenn, Douglas, Samuel and Jennifer man this on-call service themselves so you will hear a familiar voice at the end of the phone.
Easy registration & appointment booking
Take a tour of our facilities
We encourage all new clients to accept a tour of the surgery upon registration and discover the fantastic facilities we have to offer. If you have not had a tour, please do ask at reception and we will gladly show you the parts of the surgery that you may not normally get to see, including our sterile operating theatres and imaging room with digital x-ray and ultrasound diagnostic machines.
Healthy Pets Club
Also, please ask us about our “Healthy Pets Club” which allows you to split the cost of your dog, cat or rabbit’s routine health care (including boosters, wormers and parasite treatment) into an affordable monthly direct debit and save money while doing it!
