Apex Vets is an RCVS accredited small animal practice. We are perfectly located in Denny to help pets from Carron, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Grangemouth, and many of the surrounding areas.

How does the RCVS accreditation help my pet?

Being an RCVS accredited small animal practice means that Apex Vets volunteers every four years to take part in a thorough inspection and assessment by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons – the regulating body of the veterinary profession. This assessment is part of the Practice Standards Scheme.

This scheme was created to set a standard for veterinary care throughout the UK, helping the pet owning public make informed choices when it comes to choosing the best vet for their pet.

Some of the standards set and assessed by the RCVS include 24-hour emergency cover, staff training, hygiene and cleanliness across the clinic, record keeping, equipment and how it’s cared for, cost estimates, and how medication is handled and distributed, along with many more.
