The laboratory services available at our Denny vet surgery are used to diagnose a range of conditions that might not otherwise be easy to identify. Laboratory facilities are an excellent aid to our 24-hour vets in Denny who, using these services, can pinpoint the problems that are affecting animals without necessarily needing to use invasive methods.

Apex Vets’ in-house laboratory facilities include biochemistry and haematology machines. These are used for testing blood and other body tissues, to measure levels of enzymes and other substances in the body for an accurate diagnosis.

We have standard and more advanced testing available in the practice,  including progesterone (For deciding when to mate a dog), C-Rective Protain and Pancreatic enzyme testing.

Any samples we need to send away for further analysis will be sent via a secure overnight courier, and will be returned very quickly, ensuring that diagnosis and treatment can commence promptly.
