Discretionary waiver of late cancellation or missed appointment fees

Late cancellations and missed appointments adversely affect other patients who could have been seen in the time set aside for the un-used appointment. These un-used appointments also represent a significant cost to the practice, which in the long run can affect fees.

That is why, our Terms & Conditions state that in circumstances where we are given fewer than 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we reserve the right to charge a 'Late/Missed fee'. That said, we completely understand there may be occasions on which cancelling or rescheduling an appointment at short notice is unavoidable and for that reason we want to take into account all valid circumstances.
