Apex Vets Open Day 2025
We are excited to welcome the community to another great Open Day on Saturday, 6th September, from 12pm to 4pm, right here in the car park in Winchester Avenue, Denny, FK6 6QE. This family-friendly event is set to be a fantastic afternoon of fun, food, and festivities — all in aid of two important chosen causes: The Orchard Care Home and Dennyloanhead Pet Food Pantry.
The day will feature a wide variety of attractions for all ages. Children can enjoy the bouncy castle, face painting, and a lively kids' corner with games, activities, and prizes. Animal lovers will be thrilled with the hands-on encounters from Racks4Reptiles, an owl handling experience courtesy of Owl Magic, and fun canine party games specially designed for your four-legged friends.
Guests will also have the unique opportunity to explore a real fire engine and take guided tours of the Apex Vets facilities to learn more about the work that goes on behind the scenes. Live entertainment will be provided by Central FM, who will be broadcasting live from the site throughout the afternoon.
Adding to the atmosphere will be a balloon artist creating imaginative shapes, and a bustling community marketplace featuring local charity stalls and small businesses. Apex Vets' popular tombola will also be back, with over 400 great prizes to be won!
No event would be complete without refreshments, and guests can look forward to delicious offerings from the burger van and ice cream truck, as well as a wide selection of cakes, bakes, tea, coffee, and soft drinks. By attending, visitors will not only enjoy a fantastic afternoon out but also help make a meaningful difference.
